2023 Lifetime Achievement Award - Nominations

Posted by Peel Law Association on 12 January 2023

At the 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Peel Law Association, the Board of Directors presented the PLA Lifetime Achievement Award to Marty Klein. It is the goal of the PLA Board of Directors to present the award annually at the Annual General Meeting dinner. Regretfully, the global pandemic disrupted our awards for the last few years.

The PLA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes the substantial contributions made to the practice of law and the local community by a past or present member of the Peel Law Association. The nominated individual will have held a minimum ten-year membership with the Peel Law Association. It is the Board’s intention to formally recognize members of our own legal community for their years of dedication and service.

Please complete the following information and forward all relevant documentation directly to the PLA for the consideration of the Nominating Committee as provided below:

  • Name of Nominee, address and telephone information

  • Name of Nominator, telephone and e-mail address

  • Name of Seconder, telephone and e-mail address

  • State in writing the contributions made by the candidate describing their betterment to the practice of law and the well being of the local community for their efforts which may include the candidate’s CV, resume and/or biography including awards, journal articles, community involvement, etc.

  • Attach any other testimonial letters addressing the candidate’ s contributions.

The deadline for accepting submissions is 4:30 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023.

Sincerely on behalf of the Nominating Committee,
