Access to A. Grenville and William Davis Courthouse

In order to comply with physical distancing guidelines, it may take longer than usual to enter the courthouse and to move through security. Masks approved by the Ministry will be handed out at the entrance and must be worn while in the building. Also note that the number of people allowed into the courthouse will be limited in compliance to what has been approved by the Ministry. Due to this, please plan accordingly to allow yourself extra time when entering the courthouse.

A mandatory self-assessment for COVID-19 courthouse screening must be completed before you will be allowed to enter the courthouse.

The attached posters (English | French) will be located on the entrance doors of the courthouse. It is encouraged for everyone to complete the online screening prior to attending each day.

Please click here for the direct link to the COVID-19 courthouse screening.

It is strongly suggested that you ONLY come to the courthouse if you have matters to attend to in court that day. If you require information in regards to the Brampton court schedules, please contact PLA Library Staff at 905-451-2924 or
Toll-Free at 1-866-228-0235 for assistance.

Please have your Law Society of Ontario photo identification card ready for presentation when entering the building. NOTE: The swipe/photo identification cards provided by the Peel Law Association WILL NOT be accepted at the front entrance to the Brampton Courthouse. The PLA swipe cards provide access restricted to the PLA facility only which includes the robing rooms, lounge area and library. Note that the access cards to PLA facilities have been temporarily disabled at this time.

If you or someone you know is visiting the courthouse and assistance is required, we have been advised that accessible parking has been placed as close to the building as possible.  For those with walking aids or who have other accommodation needs, please contact the Accessibility Co-ordinator prior to visiting the courthouse to discuss specific accommodation needs.

The Accommodation Co-ordinator can be reached through the following numbers:
905-456-4827 | 905-456-4572 | 905-456-4824.
