Former Afghan Judges seeking paralegal placement opportunity

Two Afghan women judges in Mississauga are trying to rebuild their careers in Canada by participating in the Humber College Paralegal program.

They are required to complete 120 hours of placement work in a law firm between May and August 2026. Work should include exposure to any of the following:

• Traffic tickets
• Small Claims
• Criminal Summary Conviction Offences
• Landlord and Tenant Board

If you are able to host one or two students for 15 non-consecutive days (or the equivalent amount of time) this summer, please reach out to them directly.
