Mr. Farooq has over 25 years of extensive experience in family law, including appellate work before the Ontario Court of Appeal. Ms. Balcharan has been with Anser Law for the past ten years and has similarly developed significant appellate experience.

Our firm regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice and, when necessary, conducts trials.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience working on active litigation files and developing practical advocacy skills.

6. Understands that becoming an effective family lawyer requires dedication, thorough preparation, and continuous learning both within and beyond regular office hours.

The student will assist with legal research, drafting, motions, briefs, meeting clients and all other aspects of family litigation, including trial preparation. The position will provide exposure to both trial and appellate matters and an opportunity to develop practical litigation skills.
