Biographical Summary

Eva Janta earned two law degrees from law schools in both Canada and the United States. She is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Law (Michigan) and Windsor Law School (Ontario).

Eva was Called to the Bar in Ontario in 2016 and she practices family law, criminal defence, wills, and fertility. She works primarily in the GTA, but represents clients across all of Ontario.

She has worked in criminal law and quasi-criminal law throughout her entire legal career. She is passionate about protecting the integrity of our criminal justice system by ensuring that the system observes the constitutional rights of persons accused of crimes.

She has practiced family and wills for three years. She is skilled in negotiating separation agreements, drafting wills, and in family litigation.

She also practices fertility law. She is passionate about this emerging area of law.

Eva has represented clients in Superior Court trials, Ontario Court trials, guilty pleas at both levels, bail hearings, and at the Court of Appeal.
